Paul told us something very important in 2 Cor. 11:13-15.

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

According to the Apostle Paul there are men saying they have been sent by Jesus Christ to preach His Gospel (apostle means 'one who is sent') but he calls them FALSE APOSTLES, DECEITFUL WORKERS!!

He says that these people TRANSFORM themselves into someone who has been SENT by Christ to preach! He says we should not marvel at this because Satan transforms himself into an angel of light! (Light here meaning the truth of God). Satan is saying HE is the bearer of TRUTH. (That is what he deceived Eve into believing during the incident in the Garden of Eden when he caused Eve and Adam to sin.)

Then Paul states that it is "no great thing" if HIS (Satan's) ministers are changed into people who seem to be preaching righteousness!! He also says their END will be according to how they preach these FALSEHOODS!!

The Apostle Paul also made a statement that seems very strange on the face of it, and which most professing Christians have ignored down through the ages.

2 Cor. 11:4 "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

Another Jesus? Another spirit? Another Gospel? What in the world is Paul talking about?

There is one other thing that the Apostle John tells us about in 1 John 4:1-3.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

The 'spirit of antichrist'. A belief that is ANTI-Christ, against Christ! This is a spirit teaching that Jesus didn't REALLY come as a simple, real human being, but instead came as a Spirit Being in a COVERING of flesh.

It is a teaching that when Jesus died on the cross (stake - gr. stauros) He did not really die, but only His body died. When scripture says He was in the grave three days and three nights, this spirit of 'disbelief' says that while His body lay in the grave for three days and nights, He went to "preach to fallen angels in hell!" IF Jesus did not REALLY die then we have no sacrifice for our sins!!

Are you beginning to see a pattern here? Paul told us there are ministers of Satan who are seen as ministers of righteousness (what is righteousness? Ps. 119:172). He said they are false apostles, deceitful workers who are preaching another Jesus, another gospel, and who have ANOTHER SPIRIT!

It is the spirit of deception and lies, but which SEEMS TO BE teaching about Jesus the Christ!

Are there such people in the world now, claiming to be Christians (i.e. followers of Christ) who are preaching deception and lies about who Jesus really was and is? Are there people in the world right now who claim to be Preaching FOR Christ, but who are actually teaching almost diametrically opposite what He taught His original Apostles, i.e., that faith once delivered to the Saints (Jude verse 3) ?

Yes. I'm afraid there are. Jesus Himself warned us about these things.

Mat. 24:3-5 "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (the age)?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many

Yes, many would come in the name of Christ, saying that He (Jesus) IS the Christ, AND DECEIVE MANY!! How can that be?

Simply because, although they are preaching that Jesus is the Christ, they are teaching the wrong things ABOUT Him (and about God as well). In effect, they are teaching ANOTHER CHRIST. They are teaching a Christ which is diametrically opposite what Jesus the Christ is really like!

They are teaching a christ that is wishy-washy, namby-pamby, dirty, bedraggled, homeless, vagrant and feminine in demeanor. They are teaching about a Christ who came to "do away with His Father's old, harsh Law" and substitute a Law of Love in it's stead. They are teaching a Christ who preaches a 'do-nothing' way of life and one that preaches NO REPENTANCE because (they say) He did it all for us!!

NONE OF THIS IS TRUE!! Jesus was always pointed and precise in everything He did. He was not reticent to call the Pharisees, who were not preaching the truth of God, a bunch of "whited sepulchers" (tombs or graves) full of dead men's bones!! He was always precise in what He taught.

He made the statement: "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15)
He said: " ... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
He said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1)

If Jesus is THE WAY, then worshipping anyone else, or worshipping Him in any other way than HE COMMANDS is NOT worshipping and following the REAL Jesus!!

Jesus was NOT DIRTY, any more than anyone else would get dirty doing a hard day's work, since He was a working carpenter. In fact, He was probably pretty well off financially because He kept ALL the precepts of God perfectly, and one of those teaches proper financial stewardship.

More than that, a carpenter in that day had to do a multiplicity of jobs within the frame work of "carpentry" including stonemasonry, metal work (such as wrought iron) and any other type of construction affiliated with building. Carpentry in that day was more like a Contractor of our day.

He was not BEDRAGGLED and ragged, but wore quality clothing. Even King Herod seemed to recognize this when Jesus was brought before Him by the Sanhedrin, and Herod put on Him one of Herod's own fabulous robes (Luke 23:11), which was so expensive that the soldiers cast lots for it at Jesus' crucifixion. (Mat. 27:35)

Jesus was NOT poor. In fact He owned at least one house, and maybe more. (Mark 2:1) That house was in Capernaum. There are some other scriptures which are not clear about this but it is a possibility that Jesus owned more than one house.

He was not a vagrant but traveled to different cities preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, as He had been commanded to do by the Father. Some use the scripture in Mat. 8:19-20 to show that Jesus was homeless. However, they just don't realize that Jesus was TEACHING His disciples about spiritual things. This parable was showing that He had to travel and teach about the COMING Kingdom of God where He would have a PERMANENT home with The Father.

Always remember ... scripture talks about the physical AND the spiritual. It is a duality that runs throughout the Bible, and one we must recognize when we see it.

He told us: " Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." (Mat 5:17)

When most read this, they seize upon it, accepting what most preachers teach, that Jesus came to "do away with His Father's Law."

Nothing could be further from the truth. Those preachers and ministers who teach that are teaching lies in the name of Jesus Christ!! The word here translated 'fulfil' means:

(Greek - Pleroo -From Strong's Exhaustive Concordance # 4137)
"1) to make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full
1a) to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally
1a1) I abound, I am liberally supplied
2) to render full, i.e. to complete"

Yes!! Jesus came to fill up, to complete, to furnish or liberally supply a SACRIFICE for sins, and He did that. He KEPT ALL God's commandments, laws, and statutes COMPLETELY and became a PERFECT sacrifice for us!!

Most preachers who teach this "doing away with the law" stop short of reading the following scriptures which show that, indeed, the Law of God is STILL in effect!!

Mat. 5:18-19 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

ALL HAS NOT COME TO PASS!! ALL THINGS HAVE NOT BEEN FULFILLED!! DON'T BE DECEIVED into believing what most preachers are teaching and who thereby become ministers of Satan. (knowingly or unknowingly)

Jesus preached a "DO SOMETHING" life!! Not a life of "do nothing" and God will save you anyway!!! Acts 5:32 tells us that God gives His Holy Spirit to THOSE WHO OBEY HIM!! If a person DOES NOT OBEY Him, God has NOT given that person His Holy Spirit!! Sorry. That is just the way it is. God DEMANDS OBEDIENCE to His Commandments, statutes, and Laws whether you like it or believe it or not!!

One last thing. Whenever we see Jesus depicted by some painting, such as by Michaelangelo or others, He is ALWAYS very feminine and has long hair. His face is handsome with a sharp aquiline nose and piercing blue or light colored eyes.

Be it known that these painters have depicted Jesus in the way that has been taught down through the ages by Roman Catholics and such. There are no paintings or pictures from that time which correctly shows Jesus as He looked then. No one knows exactly how He looked. Certainly not those painters who depicted Him as effeminate or homosexual.

Since Jesus was a carpenter, a builder, a stonemason, and metal worker, it is easier for me to think that He was muscular. We do know that He was average height, since He was just like the other Jewish people of His day, and scripture tells us that He was not handsome.

Isa 53:2 "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."

Yes, truly, when one comes to Jesus, it MUST be because God the Father draws them to Him, and not because they think He is handsome and desirable, or some other physical reason entirely. God WILL have the glory IN ALL THINGS, even in those whom He calls!

As you can see, the REAL Jesus is NOTHING like He has been depicted by centuries of preachers who have been deceived by Satan the Devil.

In fact ... and I'm going out on a limb right now by giving my own opinion (however it IS a studied one) that the depictions we see today are what LUCIFER looked like when He was a beloved Archangel with God.

Let me give a few scriptures which makes me think that.

Ezek. 28:12-15 "Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee."

God created Lucifer PERFECT in BEAUTY and FULL OF WISDOM!! In fact God said Lucifer "sealed up the sum", he was a total and perfect creation as much as God could make him so. The only thing He didn't do was make Lucifer a robot, thinking in the way God would have had to program him to think. Lucifer, like us, had to CHOOSE which WAY OF LIFE he would lead ... and he chose the wrong way!!

The God of the Old Testament (who became Jesus - John 1:1-14) has set before us ALSO a choice we must make.

De 30:19 "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

Will you CHOOSE God's Way of Life OR will you follow THAT OTHER JESUS?
